Do I need to change the battery in my heart rate monitor (HRM)?

Have you ever changed the battery on your HR monitor? If not you might want to consider replacing it, as a low battery can cause problems connecting or reading HR. A fully charged good battery should last approximately 6 - 10 months if used a few hours a week. The battery is model CR2032, you can usually get it at Walgreens, Walmart or a battery supply store. Make sure you don't use an old battery that was in a drawer for a couple years, they do have a limited shelf life.
